Mark
went to school at Christ's Hospital in Sussex, England where the
uniform was designed in the sixteenth century, the beds were made
of iron and everyone marched to breakfast each morning.
After leaving school he studied Fine Art at the Slade
School in London. He then worked for a short time at London Zoo
and in a library in Cambridge before starting to write and illustrate
full-time.
In
recent years Mark became interested in computer programming, gaining
a BSc degree from the Open University in 2009. He now spends some
of his time writing plugins for ZBrush, an innovative sculpting
and painting program used extensively in the game and film industry.
Mark lives in the south-west of England with his wife and
cat. When he's not working he loves reading, gardening and walking
in the woods near his house.
